Obituary of James Shearon

Passed away peacefully in his 94th year. Dear husband of Barbara (nee Pignanelli) for 33 years. Beloved father of Lisa Lopez (John), Sean Shearon (Jana), and Gail McCarthy (Shane). Cherished grandfather “Banka” to Johnny, Alex (Joanna), Max, Luca, Matteo, and Olivia. Predeceased by his first wife, and mother of his children, Bette (nee Ciccone) and his parents James and Agnes Shearon. Loving eldest brother of the late Mary (Finn), late Dan (Helen), late Mike, Paul (Marg), late Helen (late Craig), Rita (Ron), and Maureen. Dear brother-in-law and uncle to many loved ones throughout Canada and the US. Jim was a proud and dedicated teacher with the Windsor Secondary School Board for 30 years. He loved knowledge, history and everything Irish. Special thanks to the staff at Brouillette Manor for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7236 on Wednesday April 12, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday April 13 from 10 a.m. with procession to Sacred Heart Church (1425 Divine St.) for Funeral Mass at 11am.
