To all of Steve''s family, I had the privilege of meeting Steve when he came to South Essex Community Council looking for help with his job searching. He was a little "rough around the edges" but Steve presented himself as a dedicated and hard-working man, so I felt that he would succeed in achieving his goals. He was so proud when he got his AZ license. He always talked about wanting a good job so he could take care of his "family", especially his children and grandchildren. When I made follow-up calls to him, he always returned my calls quickly, even when he was in Alberta. I appreciated him keeping in touch with me. He even dropped by our office in the early spring of this year (approximately) to say Hi. He talked to me about his failing health, but he just wanted to say "thanks" for the help he got from our agency. He was a memorable guy - kind and thoughtful. Your family is my prayers during this sad time.
