Obituary of Gina Marcelloni

MARCELLONI, Gina (Nee Chiarotti) Born May 24, 1920 in Bovara, Trevi Perugia, Italy passed away peacefully with family by her side April 3, 2015 at the Hotel Dieu Grace Care Hospital " Palliative Care at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Oliviero (1973). Loving mother of Franco (Wendy), Luciano "Louie" (Marlene). Cara Nonna of Michael (Dawn), Jennifer Rizzo (Frank), Cynthia Rose (1977), Julie Deneau (Brad), Jason (Tina), and Jacob (Melissa). Bis-nonna to 10 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Fiorello and Giuseppina Chiarotti. Dear sister to Alfredo (Paolina), Giovanni (Giuliana). She is predeceased by Italo (1990)(Loretta), Ida (2009), and Sabatino Ciri (2002). She is sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada and Italy. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 2:00 " 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 " 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Relatives and Friends will be received for Visitation at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (385 Dieppe St., Windsor, ON, N8S 3V3) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Words of Remembrance at 10:45 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. As per Gina"s wishes, she will return to her birthplace to be reunited with her husband Oliviero to rest at Bovara, Trevi Perugia, Italy.
