To the Chauvin family and all that loved Frank, I am sorry to hear of Frank''s passing. I met him many times in my life for a number of reasons. (I am the daughter of Noemi and Doug Friend). What a splendidly wonderful person. As a young teenager he spoke to me at my parents bequest and he understood more than most would. I will cherish his advice and genuine honesty. So rare. I am sure you already know this, but there is so much more to him than what he is "known" for. As his family you to journeyed with him and thank you for all you have worked for, done and sacrificed to allow him to work wonders on this earth! He has touched the lives on so many on so many levels! I am grateful. I wish that I could attend the services but I am currently in St. Catharines and will not be able to make it there. I send you all love and peace. Sincerely, Amy Friend

To ''Frank''s'' wife, his family and many friends...please accept my sincere condolences in his passing...I remember Frank as a young policeman in old Riverside...he was a great influence to my group of friends...later I heard of his activities in helping the worlds unfortunates, a testimony to his life interests. Hopefully, God will have a Special Place for him in Heaven...may he rest in peace.

Dear Lorraine and Family, It is with heavy hearts that we write this note of condolence. Frank, to repeat the words of many others, was a hero to us. We do know that he is with God at this time and not suffering any more. Hopefully these thoughts will help to make the loss of your husband and father a little easier. Heaven is richer and the poor of the world poorer because of Franks death. Wish we could be there, but are at our winter home in Texas. Our prayers are with all of at this time. My family and I are sorry to hear that Frank recently passed away. We wish to offer the family our deepest condolences. I never forget. The date was Oct. 17, 1979. Franks family and the church sponsored my brother, Han and I from the refugee camp in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We were among the Vietnamese boat people that escaped from the Vietnam War. Frank provided us with hope, opportunity, and a new life in Canada. We are extremely grateful to him and his tireless effort of helping us, and his contribution to charity work. Frank was a very charismatic, loving, and caring man. He had a ginormous heart! His willingness to help people had no limits or boundaries. Frank will be missed by many people that he touched & helped! God bless! Thomas Luu & Family

Dear Lorraine and family, My heartfelt sympathy to you and your loved ones, May you all be comforted in knowing that Frank's work has and will continue to have an impact on all he touched directly or from afar. His caring included people in need of all ages and even a small, runt of a litter piglet that brought laughter and unexpected experiences to our family. He arrived on a snowy day to attend my wedding just before I was going to walk down the aisle. He was there when our family needed assistance and wisdom. His orphanage gave me an insight into a world that here on this continent we really can't understand. Thank you Lorraine for supporting him in his missions here. May we all be inspired and affected by his work to make a little difference in our corner of the world each day.
