Dear Heather, Dave, Christi and Katie and respective spouses, along with Cliff, Sharon, Danny, Jimmy and respective spouses, our heartfelt sympathy on Dave's death. It is so very hard to believe all that has happened so quickly. We do know, however, that he is in a happier place and looking out for all of us. Although we didn't get to touch base with you Campbell cousins as much as we would have liked to when we were younger, we were delighted when you, Heather, and Dave, visited the East Coast in September of 2009. Dave was on a geneology quest regarding his Dad's folks, and we were pleased that when he arrived here, I was able to take them to the location of his late Mom's home, and to the church and graveyard in the village whee she grew up, as well as visiting a good old neighbour who was a close family friend. We so enjoyed our time with both of you, and were in constant touch ever since, and looking forward to getting together sooner than later. I wish we could be with you (our hearts are there), but we take comfort in knowing that you will be surrounded by lots of love from family and many friends. Dave was so respected and such a fine man who was loved by all. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you that you'll have strength to deal with the days ahead. All our love and kindest wishes, Cousin Anne Marie and Allister MacDonald, Antigonish, Nova Scotia
