Carol, we wish to extend our condolences to you and other family members at the passing of your mother. We have fond memories of her from our days in Thompson, MB, and for many years always looked forward to her Christmas card/update. She was such a gracious and kind lady, and so faithful to First Baptist Church. And as you no doubt know, like Laurie, she was raised in the Annapolis Valley, so there was a feeling of kinship. Even the name Kelly was a part of both families. We were saddened when we lost contact with her when she moved from her long time Mississauga apartment. May God comfort and keep you in this time of personal loss.

Carol, I've already expressed condolences on-line, but there are other things I want to mention which are for you alone. (1) Would you PLMK when the interment is for your mother at Margaretville. I can't say I can be there since Marion is due for hip replacement surgery Aug 9th, but I'd like to know just in case. I have a sister living in Kentville and visit her from time to time. (2) In case you would like to know where you're former Thompson music teacher is, I have Marcella's address in BC. (3) As a point of interest, my mother knew your mother's parents - she was from Halifax, but lived for years in the Valley. Dear Klig and Family, When I read your Mom's name in the paper, I remembered the Middleton connection that you mentioned many years ago. My sincere condolences for your loss. I was saddened to learn of Benjamins's passing as well, and I wish that you have your mother's longevity rather than his. I have been living on the Bay of Fundy since 1989 and I work in Middleton. You may remember me from U of M days as Joanne Peters. I regret never meeting your Mom, but I do have fond memories of you looking as though you'd swallowed a beachball when you were expecting. So many moons ago... Once again, my condolences and good wishes to you and your family. Joanne
