Obituary of Jean Burston

BURSTON, Jean (nee French) Passed away peacefully, with family at her side on February 7, 2013 at the age of 86. Born and raised in London, England. Jean survived WWII during which time she met Eric, her cherished husband of 64 years. They married in 1948 at St. Margaret's, Westminster. A wanderer at heart, Eric saw better opportunity in Canada and brought his bride to Windsor in 1950. They loved travelling and spent 47 years camping at the Pinery and for the past 28 years wintered in Riverview, Florida. Jean will be greatly missed by her fellow Snowbirds. Beloved Mum to Tim and Joanne Burston, Jane and John Vaccher, Chris and Isabelle Burston and Jill and Mario Cervi. Adored Grandma to Brian (Jenn), Meghan (John), Stephanie (Jeff), Mark (Jen), Justin, Emma, Michael, Robbie and Erica. Proud Great-Grandma to Samantha. Jean had a love for all creatures great and small. If you wish to honour her memory, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.
