Obituary of Mario Fontana

FONTANA, Mario Passed away December 14, 2011 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 81 years. Loving husband and best friend of Joy (nee Lamoureux) with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Mario is survived by his sister Anna Fontana; predeceased by his brother Ettore and his sister Maria Rossi. Also predeceased by his parents Antonio and Giovana, and by his brother-in-law Eddie Lamoureux survived by sister-in-law Jane Ann Lamoureux. Mario will be sadly missed by special cousin Sharon and the late Robert Cleminson and by several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club and the Alpini Association of Windsor. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Avenue) from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 9:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
