Obituary of Barry Andrew Potomski

POTOMSKI, Barry Andrew It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce Barry's sudden passing on May 24, 2011 at the age of 38 years. Cherished son of Ed and Janet Potomski, who always made his mom and dad proud. Amazing brother and best friend of Wendy, he shared the deepest part of her soul and he lived in every moment. Loving grandson to Joyce Popa (Grams) and late husband Joseph (1995), Michael (1985) and Florence (2007) Potomski. Adoring nephew to Gerry and wife Connie Popa, Cathy and Adrian Azzopardi, Stanley and late wife Janet Greene-Potomski, Robert Potomski, Terry and Sylvia Potomski. Also survived by many cousins who will miss his tremendous giving spirit and love of life. Barry will be sadly missed by his friends in the Hockey World and especially by his close buddies in the local area. He gave meaning to all of our lives. E. on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday May 28, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
