To all the other family members, our deepest and heartfelt sympathies on Aunt Ethel's passing. We will be making the trip from North Bay to the funeral, and should see everyone Wednesday night.

So sorry to read of the loss of your mother. Brought back quite a few memories. I recall how kind your mother was to me when I was made to go to Charles fifth birthday party and I was VERY outnumbered with the ratio of boys to girls and I didn't want to go. For some strange reason I still remember the awesome birthday cake your mom made you - it was a merry-go-round with little plastic horses!!! I also remember my mother making a maribou pillbox hat for Ray to give to your mom for a birthday present one year. It was an incredible hat!! I also remember going to visit John in his playpen in the driveway - he was soooo blonde and with such blue eyes that we used to refer to him as 'Tweety Bird' because he was so cute. I used to hide from Mrs. MacKinnon though because I was afraid of her. I took piano lessons for a while and she used to crack my knuckles with a ruler so I quit going!!!! Lots of memories from Lincoln Rd. indeed! Once again, sorry for your loss.
