PENNY, Helen (nee Fortais)(Telfer) Passed away on March 22, 2011. Beloved wife of James Penny for 41 years. Loving mother and best friend to Sue McGuinness and husband John, Jack Telfer and wife Sandy. Dearest grandmother to Brett, Brandon, John, Shannon, Scott, Cara and James. Predeceased by sister Vicky, brothers Jim, George, John and Vasile. Dear sister of Anne Brown, Virginia Gherasim and husband Sonny, and Margaret Zelezney, brother Steve Fortais and wife Germain, sister in-law to Ron and Heather Penny. Nasha to Beth, Kim, Gary and MaryEllen. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by her special companion Molly. Helen retired as a secretary from Chrysler Canada after 30 years of Service. E. on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, March 25, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will join at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd E.) on Saturday March 26, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
