Stan was a thoughtful and kind gentleman. I remember one Saturday morning when I was driving home from a shopping and at the corner of Tecumseh and McKay Avenues I had a flat tire. Not knowing what to do - along comes this nice man on a motorcycle. He comes up to my window in the car and said "Do you need some help?" Well, in a matter of minutes my spare tire was on the car. He didn't want any money for his kindness. In the process of introducing ourselves, I found out he was a Windsor Firefighter and a member of The Church of the Ascension, my Dad's Church. From that time on there was always a hello when I would see him at any special event at the Church. What a nice person. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
