Trofin, Roland Dean “Ron”

January 1, 1948 - November 8, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Ron on November 8, 2024, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Bonnie for 49 wonderful years. Loving dad to Todd Beecroft (Samantha) and Tiffany (Dan Moncion). Dearest “Gruff” to Ashley, Connor, Andrew, and Jordan. Predeceased by his parents, Nick and Olga Trofin. Cherished brother of Jim (Connie) and Judy Barr (Bob). Brother-in-law of Gail and Pat Hunt and the late Jim Bertrand. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ron dedicated 34 years to the Windsor Fire and Rescue Service, retiring as District Chief. Visitation will be at Windsor Chapel Banwell, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, Windsor, on Wednesday, November 13, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, with a Firefighter March Pass at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14, at 1 pm, with visitation from 12-1 pm at Windsor Chapel Banwell.
