I am deeply saddened by Ron's passing. I was lucky enough to have many fond memories of Ron. As the kids grew up, he was always there cheering them on. He never missed a hockey game, could always be counted on to take us for lunch at the Lumberjack, whistling kettle, Tims or bakers. He made us all laugh with whatever antics he was up to and enjoyed every breath of life with a smile on his face. You could always count on him to be there for you if you needed anything at all. He always had nice cars and even let me drive his Mercedes to toronto once! Like the fine cars he drove, the music he listened to and the hawaiian shirts he wore, Ron was an amazing man with a bigger than life personality. I will miss him deeply. Rest in peace Gruff, you will forever have a place in my heart. Bonnie, Todd, Tiff and family, I want to extend my deepest condolences. I hope that your memories of Ron will help you through your grief and give you some comfort.
