Rindlisbacher Family, nothing but great childhood memories of Eleanor. She was very kind to all of the children in her life and visit to her home was something to look forward to forward too. . Attached is some of her artwork of me as small child losing my shoe in the lake at her home. She painted and give this family treasure to my mother who was also a dear friend. She left a positive impact on our entire community

Hi Andrew and thank you for your kind words. I truly hope you and family are well. You may know this already but there is a photo of you, me and my dad planting trees with the Boy Scouts as part of the plaque commemorating his efforts to keep Lakewood Golf Course as park land rather than housing or strip malls. Be well sir!

Forever grateful for the wonderful memories made with my dear friend and confidant Eleanor. The many hours we spent getting to know each other will live on in my heart, and in the rocks she has given me which remain on my bedside table. An incredible and inspiring woman. I will miss you dearly.

Sally and I were both saddened to learn of Eleanor's passing and we offer our sincere sympathies to her family. Over the years we were lucky enough to visit with Eleanor and her family from to time. The memory of a person no longer with us is often mitigated by something little. Little but that will last another lifetime. I have two of Eleanor's rock paintings depicting and honouring Saint Anthony of Padua, my patron saint. A little something that will always be close to my heart. An oil painting done by Eleanor when she was only in her late teens of her older sister Mary. Eleanor blossomed as an artist early in her lifetime and continued to create throughout the years.

Eleanor was a dear aunt to me and my siblings. She was a generous person not just with her artistic creations but with her home as well. She always made you feel welcome when you came to visit. Eleanor always had some artistic project she was working on and I admired not only her talent but how she continued to be creative in her advancing years. More than her talent I admired Eleanor for her positive and easy going nature . She will truly be missed. To all the Rindlisbacher/ Butler family - my deepest sympathies.
