Obituary of Guido Malandruccolo
Malandruccolo, Guido Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 17, 2008 at the Metropolitan Campus, at 79 years of age. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy, Guido is predeceased by his wife Margherita, son Joseph, and his parents Giuseppe Malandruccolo and Maria Dominica Corbi. Guido will be greatly missed by his son Antonio and wife Patricia and grandsons Joseph and girlfriend Rachel, Andrew, Matthew and Anthony. He leaves his sister Adalgisa Malandruccolo ( Ripi, Italy), brother Giulio Malandruccolo and wife Maria (LaSalle), and sister Antonietta and husband Mario DeSimone (Windsor). Guido will be greatly missed by his best friend and companion Margaret Coe and her children Dean, Aaron & Tracy, and their children. He also leaves many sister & brother in-laws, Antonio and Maria Trocchi, Giuseppina Maceroni, Jack Maiuri, Luigi Maiuri, Giovanna DiStefano, and nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and the USA. In the 1970"s Guido, along with his brother Giulio, were the proud owners of the International Baking Company of Windsor. After retirement, his greatest achievement was to become one of the top North American dog breeders of the Spinoni Italiani. This allowed Guido to breed hundreds of Champions at his Di Morghengo Kennel in Windsor, including the 2002 winner of the Westminster Kennel Club"s "Best of Breed", his dog, Sheynia Di Morghengo. Besides Sheynia he leaves behind Coco, Dino, Bellina and Macho Di Morghengo. Guido is also a proud member of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor, the Canadian Kennel Club and the American Kennel Club. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Sunday November 23, 2008 from 7-9 pm. and Monday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers Monday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Tuesday November 25, 2008 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, or to the Transition to Betterness Centre will be greatly appreciated.
