Obituary of Evelyn Walker

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden and unexpected peaceful passing of Evelyn on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the age of 82. Dear mother of Liz, David Jr., Jason (Kerrey) and Rachel (Mike). Loving companion of Doug Williamson. Cherished Fancy Grandma to Prairie, Amelia, Sydney, Isabel, Scarlet, Elyse, Harrison, Joseph, Brent, and Alexandra. Survived by brothers George (Judy) and Clifford (Susie). Reunited with parents Morton and Marion Walker. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Evelyn loved her life in Windsor and was an indelible part of her neighbourhood, Walkerville. She meant something wonderful to many, and cast a colourful light wherever she went with dignity and grace. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will take place on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 12-5pm at the Windsor Yacht Club, and a second celebration will take place at Kurley’s AC on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 2-6pm.
