Obituary of Jerry Joseph Dupuis

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on January 13, 2024, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of over 70 years to Doris (nee Barney). Cherished father of Cheryl Marsh (Gary), Rick (Nancy), and Wayne (1977). Proud grandfather of Travis, Sara Marsh; Joshua, Jayde, Zack, Bridget Dupuis; Kelsey Romaniuk, and great-grandfather of Brielle, Lyla, Everly Dupuis. Predeceased by his parents Nelson and Gladys Dupuis, and father and mother-in-law, Robert and Rosanne Barney. Dear brother of the late June Ivison (late Bill), late Joan Kendall (late Mike), Gary Dupuis (Darlene), Carol Emery (late Dennis), and Ron Dupuis (late Sandy). Brother-in-law of the late Janette Seguin (late Dorious), and late Philip Barney (late Betty). Jerry will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jerry was the CEO of Total Tooling Services Inc. and was proud to be the 911 guru 24/7. He retired in 2004, and spent 6 years on the board of directors at Westchester at the Lake Condominiums. In his retirement he enjoyed golfing, especially in Ft. Myers, Florida, and Gaylord, Michigan. Jerry always said he had a 90-year-old body with a 30-year-old mind. He will be missed but never forgotten.

The family would like to thank Dr. Cargill and his nurse Kristen, as well as the palliative care team at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare for all their dedicated care and compassion.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235), on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 11:00 am until time of Prayer Service at 1:00 pm in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
