Obituary of Anthony Mariotti

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Mariotti on August 8th, 2023. Reunited with beloved wife Janet (nee Webb), best doggy Ted, and cherished parents Orsola (nee Gentili) and Domenico. Survived by sister Mary (late Eugene) Miliucci, and brother Basil (late Santina). Tony will be sorely missed by step-daughter Paula, as well as his loyal assistants Annie and Georgia. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephew.

Tony was called to the bar in 1964 and practiced law with passion until the day of his passing. (He would jokingly say that he was practicing until he got it right). He was a bon-vivant with an infectious laugh. He cultivated a loyal circle of lifelong friends. He was a lover of life and people.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234, on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Parish prayers at 4:00 pm. Funeral leaving the Central Chapel on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 10:15 am going to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow at Windsor Crematorium. In memory of Tony, donations can be made to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or the Windsor Cancer Center Foundation.
