BRODERICK, Edward John Sr. Passed away June 22, 2008, at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Gladys (nee Prieur) (1984). Loving father of Beverley Tessier, and husband Ron, Joan Dagenais, and husband Larry, Shirley Meloche, and husband Rick, Judith Grob, and husband Dennis, Diane Orawski and husband Dan, Edward Jr., and wife Debbie, Patricia Bombardier, and husband Eugene, Margaret Sykes, and husband John, Mary-Anne Alfini, and the late Michael (1992). Dear son of Edward Broderick and Elizabeth (nee Baines). Cherished grandfather of Jill, Joy, David, Laurie, David, Mark, Brad, Jody, Wendy, Brian, Michael, Rachael, Matthew, Jarrod, Bill, Marie, Juliette, Robert, Christina, Gabriella and Shae-Lynn. Dear great-grandfather of Regan, Ronan, Michael, Ashton, Ashley, Taylor, Brook, Matthew, Madison, Myah, Aidan, Joshua, Cameron, Athena and Saphira. Survived by loving brother and best friend Frank, and wife Agnes. Predeceased by brothers Tom, Barney, (Thelma), and Vince (Florence). Predeceased by in-laws Ivan Prieur and wife Alice, Russell and Jean Pare. Survived by sister-in-law Doris Prieur, and brother-in-law Raymond Pare. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Edward was retired from the Union Gas Company and was a member of the K. of C. (River Canard). Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 3:30pm. Relatives and friends will received on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Drive) from 9:30am until time of funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff and residents of Chartwell (Amherstburg) who made our Dad's final month's so pleasurable and comfortable. On behalf of our dad, we extend heartfelt thanks to the residents of Westview (Amherstburg) for fond memories and kindnesses. Thanks Tom Loxton.
