Obituary of Anna Cava

CAVA, Anna (nee Lopez) Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2008 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of 52 years of marriage to the late Pietro (April 2006). Loving mother of Remo & wife Concetta, Maria & husband Emmanuel Gatt, Rosa & husband Tonino Rizzo and Josie & husband Mario Gualtieri. Dear daughter of the late Serafina and Francesco Lopez. Cherished nonna of Josie, Emmanuel , Luca, Brandon, Annina, Julia, Christian and Michaela. Dear sister to the late Adelina (1995) and her late husband Salvatore Tricarico (2001), the late Gaspare Lopez (2003) and wife Assunta Lopez, the late Palma Giovanna (1995) and her late husband Salvatore Paradiso (1993), Elvira and her late husband Antonio Travo (2004). Sister-in-law to Salvatore and Elda Cava , Mario and Annina Cava, Orlando and Irena Cava, Saveria and Mario Ruggero, Ugo (2004) and Anna Cava, Maria and Carmine Staine, Silvio and Anna Cava, Giuliana and Ferruccio Da Sacco and Vittorio (1990) and Barbara Cava. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anna worked at Trevi Pizzeria Restaurant. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
