Obituary of Franco Gioioso

GIOIOSO, Franco

April 7, 1959 - May 24, 2023

It is with broken hearts that the family of Franco Gioioso announce the passing of our cherished husband, father, and nonno. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Hospice of Windsor. Loving and cherished husband of 35 years to Daniela Gioioso (nee Rota). Loving and cherished father to Luca, Giulio, Vanessa (Tyler) and Adriano. Loving and adored nonno to Theodore, Rocco, Ozzy, and Gemma. He will be missed by many family members and friends in Italy, Switzerland and here in Canada.

Our heart-felt thank you goes to Hospice of Windsor, Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital MET Campus, and the nurses of Saint Elizabeth for all the care, compassion, and never-ending efforts to assure his comfort with the utmost respect and kindness.

We Love you dad, husband and nonno we know your watching us and until we hug and kiss you again keep making your amazing puzzles and doing the flamingo.
