Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Pinnegar

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Pinnegar on May 2, 2023, just shy of her 73rd birthday (May 14, 1950). Loving and devoted wife to George of 52 years. Cherished and loved mother to Patti (Darin), Cheryl (Will), Brian (Debbie), and Sean. Awesome grandma to Dylan (Alex), Dakota (Brandi), Connor (Alyssa), Princess McKennah, Chris, and Sara. Survived by her brothers and sisters Mike (Debbie), Barbara (Paul), Colleen (Alan), Maureen (Nick), Chuck (Pauline), and Kelly (Tim). Pre-deceased by parents John (1991) and Barbara (2018) O’ Connor, and sister Vicki (2005). Betty will be loved and forever missed by her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many friends and extended family. Betty was retired from the University of Windsor and loved to play bingo and go for rides and on walks. One of her favourite pastimes was going to Rondeau and spending time with the family. She will be missed by her many furbabies. Special thanks to Home Instead, especially Shannon and Robin for their compassionate care. In Lieu of flowers Betty would appreciate donations to Windsor Essex County Humane Society or an animal rescue of your choice. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougal Ave. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 10 am.
