ਰੇਵ । ਡਾ. ਆਨੰਦ ਸਪੇਂਸ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ, ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ-ਲਿਖਿਆ, ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ, ਦਿਆਲੂ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਮਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ (ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ) ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿੰਡਸਰ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਭਰੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਜਨਕ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੂੰਜਦੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਔਖੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ।

A sister-brother relationship is one of the most beautiful bonds in life. My mother used to tell us so many stories of their childhood where mamu was hero and he can do anything. She loved him very much. Now mamu and mummy they can meet one another in the house of the Lord. Our believe is that we will meet again

I did not meet Rev. Dr. Anand Spencer but he and his family have been in my prayers and those of our Bible study since we heard of his illness. I know the kind of man of faith he was because I see this legacy of faith in his daughter Priya, her husband, and their children. I’m so very grateful to God for His Son Who died to make us “Righteous in Christ Jesus”, for this means that this temporary life gives way to victory everlasting. I look forward to meeting him one day in our Heavenly Home where there is no pain, no sorrow, and no more goodbyes. There we will worship our Savior and Lord, Jesus, together!

I remember meeting Rev. Spencer in 1991 at my brother’s wedding. He came across as someone who was kind, gentle and a family man. Extremely soft spoken yet got his point across without raising his voice. Well sir - you fought the fight, ran the race and now you rest in our Lord’s presence. May your soul rest in Peace…..Subodh Singh

I have known Rev. Anand Spencer since mid 1970s while I was a student at Punjab University in Chandigarh. He was the Regional Secretary of the Student Christian Movement. He always treated us as friends and we enjoyed our summer camps under his leadership, guidance and good counsel. Since then we have kept in touch. I will miss him dearly and his passing is a great personal loss. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
