Obituary of Barbara Nemeth

Nemeth, Barbara Jean Barbara Jean Nemeth entered into eternal rest on April 19, 2023. She was born July 1, 1949 in Windsor Ontario. She graduated from Harry E. Guppy High School of Commerce and had a career in the automotive industry. Barbara was the loving wife of Michael Nemeth whom she married on August 31, 1973. She was most proud of her children Jeffrey Nemeth (Heather) and Michelle Cross (Ian), their accomplishments and wonderful families. Barbara’s absolute joy came from her grandchildren Jessica, Abbey, Ewan, Isabelle, Seth, Colin, Sadie, Silas, and Emmett. She was the happiest with her time spent with them. In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren Barbara is survived by her sister Doris Fischer, sister-in-law Beverly Nemeth and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. Her loss has left a hole deep in our hearts and she will be greatly missed by all. Barbara was predeceased in life by her parents Reinhard and Wanda Stewin, granddaughter Cleo Nemeth, sister Ella Grau, brother-in-law Bill Grau, brother-in-law Hans Fischer, parents-in-law Charles and Georgia Nemeth, brother-in-law Richard Nemeth, and sister-in-law Donna Nemeth. As per Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (SOUTH CHAPEL) 3048 Dougall Ave Windsor (519-253-7234). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
