Obituary of Radmila Drakulovic

DRAKULOVIC, Radmila (nee Radenovic) It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Radmila, a loving Wife, Mama and Baba on March 30, 2023 at the age of 81 in Largo, Florida. Beloved wife of Milic with whom she celebrated 62 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Marko Drakulovic (Lia) of Chatham, Snezana Baker (Dr. Jeffrey) of Washington Twp., MI, Lidija Drakulovic of Chatham, and Dr. Milutin Drakulovic (Beba) of Scottsdale, Arizona. Cherished baba to Kristine, Danielle, Julia, Adrianna, Nikolas, Simona, and Aleksandar. Predeceased by parents, Spasoje and Bozana Radenovic. Dear sister to Mika Culafic of Montenegro and predeceased by brothers Radoslav and Rajko Radenovic. Survived by many nieces, nephews and kumovi in Canada, U.S.A. and Montenegro. Radmila and her family emigrated to Windsor 50 years ago with the generous assistance of her brother in-law and sister in-law,the late Zarija Djurickovic and his wife Rabija. Radmila retired from General Motors after 20 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful and devout member of St. Dimitrije Serbian Orthodox Church. Radmila enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking homemade foods for family and friends. The greatest pride and joy for Radmila was spending time with her family, especially with her beloved grandchildren who were the twinkle in her eyes. Friends will be received at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, South Windsor (519) 253-7234 on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Prayers at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, April 8, 2023 family and friends are invited to gather at St. Dimitrije Serbian Orthodox Church (2690 Seminole St. Windsor) for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Very Rev. Fr. Jovica Cetkovic officiating. Interment to immediately follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Radmila, memorial donations may be made to St, Dimitrije Serbian Orthodox Church.
