It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of the De Menech patriarch Luigi De Menech on March 24, 2023 at the age of 100 years and 6 months. Reunited with the love of his love his wife Marina (2000). Beloved Father of Marino De Menech (B.C.), the late Eliana De Menech (2008), Fabio and Anna De Menech, Francesco and Vanessa De Menech ( New Baltimore Michigan). Nonno to Linda (Fabio) Giovanatto (Italy), the late Fabrizio Massaro (2022) Italy, the late Ben De Menech(2001) B.C., Carmen De Menech (Greg Mancuso) Prince George B.C., Fabiana and Luciano Faria, Massimo De Menech, Danila (Erik) Boyes, Ilena De Menech and Kevin De Menech and Adam De Menech (New Baltimore Michigan). Bisnonno to Cristiano, Iris, Felice, and Filippo Giovanatto (Italy), Daschel Mancuso Prince George B.C. and Nonnino to Emily Faria.
Beloved Brother to Vittorio (1930), Mario (1963), Giuseppe(2002), Ida (1963), Emma (1963), Silvio De Menech(2015). Sister-in-law to Silla De Menech. Beloved Zio to nieces and nephews in Italy, Argentina and Canada.
Was proud member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Holy Name Society of St. Angela Merici Church. Proud member of the Bellunesi nel Mondo. Owner of De Menech Electric. Proud employee of Roscoe Electric and proud Employee of General Motors (Windsor, Ontario.)
Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on Wednesday March 29, 2023 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Church on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Luigi donations can be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul of which he was a past member and Vincentian.
