Forever grateful for Mr. Sovan in my life, he encouraged me and taught me how to be myself and how to see the world through a different view. I’ll never forget the time on Halloween when he hid in the closet with a skull mask and gloves and played a prank on us. Mr.Sovan will live on in my heart as long as I’m here.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Sovan's family and friends. I remember him as a really wonderful English Teacher and Year Book Teacher Advisor. We shared a fondness for Simon and Garfunkle, and he encouraged me to write, especially poetry. I will never forget beginning each class with the word of the day. He will be missed dearly.

I worked with Greg for many years in both Leamington and Windsor at what was then known as Employment and Immigration Canada. He was a lot of fun to work with and had a wicked sense of humor. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am saddened to hear of Greg's passing. I have many memories of us playing together during my years of growing up in Windsor, especially playing Stratomatic football in Greg's basement. I am disappointed that I won't be able to catch up with him at the upcoming reunion, pariculariy as I read of his developing his own sport board games.

Greg brought much joy to many people with all of the baseball games he created. In the process, he created a community of friends and fellow baseball fans. His loved ones should know how much many of us appreciated Greg, and enjoyed getting to know him. May God bring comfort to his family and may he Rest In Peace.

My condolences and prayers are with you, Ann, and your family, on Greg's passing. I have known him since 2012 through the baseball games he created. He had a marvelous, fertile mind that he put to such terrific use in creating products that hundreds, if not thousands, of us in the table top hobby have benefited from. I first met him online as I was recovering from major surgery and bought one of his creations to assist in my recovery. I got to know him through email and have kept playing his numerous creations since. He has brought great enjoyment to me over many hours and I will always be grateful for getting to know him. May he rest in peace.

We were best friends, cousins and soul mates playing together as children. We were always at each other’s homes down the street and our moms were best friends. We went to school together and had our tonsils out together. So many memories. Then we grew up and got busy in our own lives. I will miss him as will many others. I am so sorry for your loss Annie and family and we cousins and family from childhood will miss him.
