Kylee loved working at the optical, her first real job! She loved everyone she worked with & loved it so much, she actually thought of becoming an optician at one point. I know she would have if the program had been offered at a school here in Windsor. So many memories, thank you Monica for your comforting words & for bringing back another fond memory for me.

Mary , Chris and Family … Kylee was one of the most beautiful pure people I have ever met. She had the biggest heart anyone could have. I do not know anybody who had the determination and drive to overcome an obstacle standing in front of her goals. Ky changed my life in so many ways. She gave me so much purpose in some of our very important teenage years and it’s almost impossible to not smile at the hundreds of memories and pictures I was able to share with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all right now at this difficult time. I hope you find comfort in her being at peace and pain free. She is forever watching over us smiling and laughing her ever so infectious laugh. Kylee, sweet Kylee, Rest in Peace . You are forever missed beautiful girl.

Thank you Karlee. She was definitely a beautiful person, inside & out. I was always so in awe of her strength throughout her life & especially during the years-long struggle she endured with the evil disease that consumed her. Even throughout her worst times she still put others’ feelings above her own. That was my sweet beautiful Ky. She was the most loving daughter & nothing ever came between us, no matter what. Heaven gained the most beautiful angel & a huge piece of my heart.

My sincere condolences to my friend/sister Mary Margaret Carnegie (Marg) and to Kylee's sisters, Leigh Ann and Jami. I was Kylee's aunt not through blood but by the grace of God. Kylee was everything that a niece could be, she made me part of her family. Kylee fought a battle that no one should ever have to fight. The endless support she had from her loving mother was an attestation to the love they shared, a bond that could not be broken through all of the diversity that they faced together. She will be forever in my heart I love you Kylee, until we meet again be at peace.

Thank you so much! You’ve been an ongoing, unwavering support to me & all three of my girls, not only during Kylee’s five year fight, but continuously over the past 30 years. You are & always will be, my sister/my friend, a very special & beloved aunt to Kylee as well as my other two girls & loving nana to Jami’s three beautiful children, who mean the absolute world to Kylee. I know Kylee will continue to shine down on all of us until we see her again.

My sweet daughter Kylee. I know you’re looking down on everybody here who loves & misses you with all of our being. You are the strongest person I have ever known & I am so proud & thankful that you chose me to be your mother. We were a perfect match, we both felt it! We had an amazing bond! You are & always will be, my hero. I’ve watched the pain, the suffering and the mental & physical torture that was so unfairly inflicted upon you. You deserved nothing but the best life had to offer but somehow, sadly, you got so very little of that. My beautiful, sweet baby Ky, I will continue to hold you in my heart until the day we’re together again when I will hold you in my arms for eternity. I love you so much my baby, I miss you always. Thank you so much Rick. My daughter thought the world of you & Brenda. I appreciate all that you did for her throughout her short career with the WECDSB. I will never forget the pride on her face the day she found out she got that job. Another memory that will remain in my heart forever! Kylee shared so many stories with me of the amazing people she worked with & her face just lit up as she spoke! Thank you to all who helped bring some light into her sometimes very dark world.
