It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pave, on March 15, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved husband and best friend to Danica (nee Paulic) with whom he celebrated 70 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted father to Ante Kalic, and father in-law to Diana. Cherished granpa to the late Paul Kalic (2016) and surviving wife Natalie. Manda Cowling and husband Jeff. Adored great-granpa to Zack, Ryan, Alyssa, Alexa and Andria. Dear brother to the late Manda and Milka Paulic. Special "Bratic" to Vinko Kalic and the late Slavko Kalic. Pave was a beloved brother in-law, uncle and cousin to many in Canada, U.S.A., Croatia, Germany and Australia. He emigrated to Canada in 1970 to create a better life for his family. Pave was a devoted citizen to both his home and adopted country. A cabinet maker by trade, Pave could be found spending his retirement years working in his yard or tinkering with and fixing items in his garage. Pave's overprotective love for his family will be greatly missed everyday. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Parish prayers at 7:00pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 9:15am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
