Obituary of Barbara Truman

Passed peacefully with family at her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert Truman. Dear mother of Darin (Christina). Cherished grandmother of Emily and Madeline. Dear sister of the late George White. Loved dearly by sisters-in-law Dianne White and Evelyn Grant. A former dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, Barbara moved in the world with grace, strength and determination. Inside her small but mighty frame was a big heart filled with a fierce love for family, friends and life itself. She cared deeply about the people in her life, including the caring nurses and personal support workers that helped to support her during her health struggles. Barbara touched many lives with her kindness, warmth and attentiveness. She will be deeply missed. Donations to the Arthritis Society of Canada in Barbara’s name would be appreciated. Interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
