Obituary of David Albert French Sr.

FRENCH, David Albert Sr. November 11, 1944 - February 14, 2021 Passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021 at 76 years of age. Loving father of David (Missy) and Kevin (Nadia) Proud and caring grandpa of Nina, Jaclyn, Georgia, and Quinn. David was born in Sudbury Ontario to Gordon and Kay French. Cherished brother to Robert “Bob” (Charlene) French, Judy (Arnie) Schmidt, Jeannie (Brian) Cardoza, and the late Andy French. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. David retired from Chrysler Canada after 35 years of service and was a dedicated member of the Unifor Local 444. He spent his spare time with the Knights of Columbus where he was a 3rd Degree Knight. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially "The Core Four". He loved to go hunting & fishing, going for walks, tending his tomato garden, and having a cold beer with his buddies A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at WRH - MET campus (4th floor) for their care and compassion. At David’s request, cremation has taken place and a burial of his cremated remains will take place in Ottawa at a later date.
