Obituary of Edward John Crone

CRONE, Edward John

January 11th, 1932 - October 29th, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Eddie at 90 years of age. He was surrounded by his family, at home, until the end. Beloved husband to the late Kathleen Anne (Nee Forrest) whom he shared 56 years of marriage with. Loving father to Kelly (Chris) LaRocque and Kathy (Paul) Fontaine. Cherished papa to Ryan, Joshua and Nicole. Eddie is predeceased by his parents Edward Crone Sr. and Margaret (Nee McVay). Dear brother to late Maureen (late Fred) Meisner, late Sheila (late Jimmy) McMahon, late Patricia (late John) Fox, Kay (late Ron) Ethier, late Brian (Shirley) Crone, Eileen (Leo) Laforet and Kevin (Paulette) Crone. Brother-in-law to late Charlie (late Marie) Forrest, late Mary (late Red) Cunningham, Laura (late Larry) Lamon, Helen (late Ernie) Darocy and Sheila (Earl) Fuhr. Eddie will as well be missed by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Hospice of Windsor Essex, the PSW’s, and the nurses for their compassion and comfort for Eddie.

Memorial Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10am until time of service at 1:30pm in the chapel.
