Obituary of Joseph Anthony Passa

It is with crushing hearts that we announce the passing of a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend Joseph Passa on October, 19th 2022.  Cherished husband of JoAnne (nee Nantais) of 71 years.  Beloved father of Dennis of Australia, Fred (Jan), Joseph Jr. (Deb), Liz, Chris, Diane (Dan), and Lisa (Dave).  Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.  Survived by brother George, and predeceased by his siblings Charles, Arthur and Alex.  Predeceased by his parents Alexandor and Julia (nee Bako).  Joseph loved riding his bike to the library, going to garage sale, and making sure he did his hundred laps a day in the pool.  He also loved traveling by train across the country and his most favorite is scratching lottery tickets.  He worked for Canadian Pacific Express for 35 years.  A special thank you to Emily in the ER at Windsor Regional - Ouellette Campus and to Tracey and Meghan in the ICU for taking such great care of all of us and especially to our father.  
Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Ave, 519.253.7234, on Tuesday, October 25th from 3-5pm and 7pm until time of service at 8pm.  Cremation to follow.
