Obituary of Christine Joan Desmarais

DESMARAIS, Christine Joan (nee Beaumont) After a brief, but fierce battle with cancer, Christine passed peacefully on September 2, 2022 at Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 69, with her chosen daughter, Holly, at her side. Precious "adopted Ma" and "Grandma" to Robert and Holly Lelievre, and Kelsey Liles. Best friend and "partner in crime" of Carol Cosgrove. Christine was always the first to offer a helping hand, was always busy cooking for her neighbours, had a wicked sense of humour, was always up for a three hour phone call no matter the time of day or night and never ended a phone call without telling us that she loved us. We would like to thank Dr. Burgess and the amazing team at chatham-Kent Hospice for the loving, patient and compassionate care they gave to both "Ma" and ourselves. In honour of Christine's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234.
