Obituary of Allen Stephen Ropac

ROPAC, Allen Stephen  

February 22, 1940-September 7, 2022 

Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital- Met Campus, at the age of 82 with his loving family by his side. Loving father of Jodi Ropac, Stephen Ropac and the late Carrie Ropac. Cherished grandfather of Maxwell (Father Martin Utrosa), Darius and Paisley (Mother  Tamara Powell). Will be remembered by his friend Gail Kennedy-Brown. Dear brother of Eddie (the late Sandra), Pete (Barb), and the late Mary and Arnold Woods and Frank. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Olga. Allen is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Allen was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent many years working with EssexTerminal Railway and completed his working career with Veltri Stamping.  In his retirement, he was an avid sports fan who loved golf and bowling, but most of all his most fond times were spent with the grandchildren and family creating cherished memories. He enjoyed quiet moments too, and could often be found watching his big tv and catching up with his favourite shows.  As per Allen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment of Allen’s cremated remains will take place on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Windsor Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome.
