At the age of 81 years, passed away peacefully August 14, 2022 at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Raffaelle and Filomena Frani. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years Mario, sons Marino and wife Shelby, Adriano, Raffaelle and wife Sabrina. Beloved Nonna of Serena and partner JJ, Julian, Vanessa, Alessia, Bisnonna to Ella and Nonna C. to Will, Rocco and Harrison. She is reunited in heaven with her sisters, Filadea and Domenico Ciaramellano, Josetta and Giovanni Paciocco, Eva and Anselmo Cicchini and brother Sabatino and Gabriella Frani. Fondly remembered by Adelia and (late Giulio) Cicchini, Vanda and Pasquale Donofrio, Lina and (late Camillo) DiLello, brother-in-law Pasquale and Maria Colarossi, Carlo and Lina Colarossi, sister-in-law (late Carolina) and Domenico Di Girolamo and Maria and (late Egidio) Berardi. Loving Zia to many nephews and nieces.

Iole immigrated to Canada in 1964 along with her husband. She worked various jobs and genuinely enjoyed her work and the people she met through her many jobs. She will be forever remembered for her great passions God, family, her cooking and baking. Ten-layer lasagna, pasta, famous sponge cake, the best mocha cake ever and lemon squares… devoured and loved by all her family. Faith and family were everything to her. Above all, she abundantly loved and adored her husband, 3 boys, her grandchildren and her great grandchild Ella. Nothing put a bigger smile on her face than feeding the people she loved most. Iole lived life to the fullest, always had an open door and food ready for anyone who came over.

Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7234 on, Friday August 19th from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers at 7pm. Funeral services to begin in the chapel on Saturday August 20th at 8:45am in procession for Funeral Mass at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest (5005 Howard Ave). In honour of Iola donations are appreciated to T2B or the Hospice of Windsor.
