Obituary of Marguerite Marie Emma Parent

PARENT, Marguerite Marie Emma (Nee Martel) February 6, 1921 - February 2, 2021 Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the age of 99 years. Beloved wife of Raoul for 34 years (1979). Dear mother of the late Bernie (1986) (late Marilyn 2007), Louis (Gerry), Sue (late George 2015), Dennis (Pat), Jacques (Wendy) and Maggie (Vesna). Loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren, David, Sandra, Jennifer, Shaun and Jacqueline. Loving great-grandmother of 2 great-grandchildren Nathan and Christian. Loving great-great-grandmother to April. Born in 1921 in Bourget, Marguerite met her husband Raoul and moved to Windsor in 1945. Marguerite was a nurse at IODE for 26 years raising 6 children.  She was the heart of the family always smiling and laughing, who loved celebrating every holiday with her loved ones as she welcomed anyone and everyone.  A celebration of life to take place at a later date. Memorial donations to be made to The Breast Cancer Society of Canada.   Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234, on Friday February 5, 2021 from 3:30pm to 9:00pm. Reservation and masks are required to attend the visitation. Please call Windsor Chapel between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm to make your reservation.
