Obituary of Mary Dutka

DUTKA, Mary Francis (Nee Gallas)

Passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2022 at the age of 81. Reunited with husband Phillip Henry Dutka. Cherished mother to the late Gerald (2017), Philip (Adriana), Karen (Ernest) and Michael (Barb). Loving Grandmother to Amanda, Sean, Ashley, Courtney, Richard, Kate and Eric. Beloved great grandmother to Tate, Lola, JJ, Salomon and Frankie. Will also be missed by extended family and friends.

On behalf of Mary’s family, they would like to extend thanks to Extendicare Tecumseh for the years of outstanding care and compassion shown towards our mother.

Mary enjoyed going to the Casino with her friends and granddaughter Ashley.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed going to many concerts with them.  She was an avid sports fan, the Red Wings and Lions being her favourite teams.  She also attended many hockey games.  Mary also drove a school bus which brought her much happiness

Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253-7234 on Thursday August 4th from 4-7pm. Visitation to continue Friday August 5th from 10am until time of service at 11am in the chapel. Burial to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens (1185 Highway 3). In honour of Mary donations are appreciated to the Humane Society of Windsor or the Alzheimer’s Society.
