Obituary of Thomas George Charbonneau

CHARBONNEAU, Thomas George March 10, 1961– February 1, 2021 Passed away at WRH-Met Campus on Monday, February 1, 2021, at the age of 59, cause was cardiac arrest. Father of Jacklynn (Wes), Candice (Alain) and Brittney (Noel). Loving Grandpa of Lindsay, Alonzo, Hazel, Amelia and Owen. Son of the late Marie and George Charbonneau. Brother of the late Donna (Serge), Susan (Ron), Cindy (Bill), and Eddie (Jenna). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews (Amanda, Tony, Megan, Sherri, Billy, Josh, Mitchel, Sarah, Emily, Danny, Matthew) as well as many great nieces and nephews. Our dad was a man with a heart of gold, he always put others before himself. He’s the kind of person who would have given you the shirt off his back to make sure you had enough no matter what his own personal struggles in life were. Our dad had a way of lighting up a room, he was always the life of the party and brought laughter to those around him. He was very proud of his kid’s accomplishments in life, one of his biggest achievements was all his kids pursuing entrepreneurship with his guidance, this was an ultimate success that brought him pride and joy. Furthermore, he found happiness and shared his love by playing with his grand-kids; Singing YouTube songs, Simon says, and magic tricks were some highlights they shared over the years. The relationships he has built with his family over the past few years will always be cherished and never forgotten. We will continue to joke and laugh as we know that is what he would want us to do. In the words of Uncle Rene, “I bet he is up there telling St. Peter a BS story about how he painted those gates.” Donations can be made to Jackie, Candice and Brittney for their love of pizza and booze. Thanks. In all seriousness, in lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Brentwood Recovery Home, 2335 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N8X 1S9. A private family visiting will take place with cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234.
