Uncle Romeo was the kindest soul I have ever known. He was my favourite uncle. I remember our many visits as a child and adult, and his ability to bring you into his heart. His gardening skills were impressive and delicious! And his many refrigerators were always full of treats, food and beer. He lived a full life of love and laughter, who wouldn’t with a family like ours. Uncle Romeo, I wish the best in your next journey, say hi to Mom and Dad, Myra and the entire and extended family. Although it has been years we still remember living next door to you on Capitol Street. We were in Halifax a few years ago and went to the wharf on a Sunday afternoon. There were no available seats but one couple who had two emply seats asked us to sit with them. We mentioned that we were from Windsor and the lady said I have a cousin that lives in Windsor, her name is Labbe. I then mentioned that we had lived next door to a family named Labbe, Romeo and Theresa and she said she was Theresa's cousin. We all were shocked at the coinsidence.
