Obituary of Maria Eleonora Bisutti

BISUTTI, Maria Eleanora (nee Lenarduzzi) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mamma, nonna, and bis nonna on January 23,2020 at the age of 89. Born on June 25, 1930 in Pescincanna, Fume Veneto Fruili, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1948 at the age of 18. Beloved wife of the late Dino Bisutti (1995). Loving mother of Lorenzo (Cathy), Steve, Dinah (John). Dear nonna of 9 grandchildren; Jodi (Jeff), Marc, Quinn (Aaron), Brett (Katie), Anthony Cimino (Sarah), Dave Cimino (Sara), Mike Cimino (Jonelle), Andrea and Natalie Bisutti. Beloved bis nonna of 10. Dear sister of the late Guilio Lenarduzzi, Elio Lenarduzzi, Calisto (Pia) Lenarduzzi and twin Silvio (Louise) Lenarduzzi. Survived by sister in-laws Augusta Lenarduzzi and Loria Lenarduzzi, Anna and Francesco Martinello and Bruna Serafin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Survived by her dear companion Remo Scrignaro and family. Mom was known for her love of singing in the church choir, gardening, and her deep religious faith. She made the best gnocchi, pasta sauce, minestrone soup and veal birds, all self-taught. Maria was a member of the Fogolar Furlan Club and the Fogolar Furlan Women’s Association. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts, watch over all of us “Riposi in pace”. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Sunday January 26, 2020 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Sunday at 4:30pm. Funeral Service on Monday January 27, 2020 at 8:45am with procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for the Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
