HAND, Barbara (nee Stedman)

June 14, 1926 - June 2, 2022

Passed peacefully with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by cherished husband Donald. Beloved mother to Douglas and David (Marylène). Proud grandma to Jessica (Jeremy), Cassandra (Derrick), Gabriel (Krystal), Jonah (Ánh), Dominique (Shiva), Matthew (Tyler), Sydney (Bryce) and Nick (Danielle). Great-grandmother to Benjamin, Miriam, Lucas, Adalee, Milo, Nixon, Mackenzie and Maxim. Sister to Diana (Gordon), Janis (Gord) and Michael. Aunt to Jordan (Teresa) and Kierla. Great-aunt to Gabriel and Linley. Special thank you to Rita Hand for all of her care and support. Barbara will be sadly missed by her sewing, music, church and Bible study friends. Long-time member of the Banwell Community Church (Temple Baptist Church). She had a long and fulfilling life. She lived to lovingly share her skills of cooking, baking and sewing with her grandchildren. She was very devoted to her church and involved with the "Happy Hearts" serving the community. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside will take place at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
