Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 19th, 2022 at the age of 81. Reunited with her husband George Kolonelos (1998), whom she shared 33 years of marriage with. Loving mother to Peter (Natasha) and Jim “Demetrios” (Lisa). Cherished Yiayia to George, Maria, George and Peyton. Beloved sister to Vasio Ampelikiotis, and George (Barbara) Palilis. She as well will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, USA, and Greece.

Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Wednesday May 25th, 2022 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, Thrice Holy Hymn service Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. Funeral service to take place on Thursday May 26th at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (3052 Walker Rd, Windsor, ON) at 11am. Burial to follow to Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON). On behalf of Maria donations are appreciated to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
