Obituary of Diane Ester Gillis

GILLIS, Diane<br/>December 29, 1928 - January 25, 2021<br/>It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Reunited with her loving husband Edmund "Big Ed" (2003). Cherished mother of Pam (Don), Penny (2003), Ed (Anita), Greg (Sandy)(2014) and Beci (Mike)(2005). Best grammies ever to 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Ruth Paltridge. Predeceased by her parents Vernon and Esther Young as well as 2 sisters and 1 brother. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care (CC8 3 South Palative), Bayshore and St. Elizabeth for their compassionate care. A private family visitation has taken place followed by interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. All services entrusted to Windsor Chapel (South Chapel).
