Obituary of George Parker
PARKER, George
“Have I told you lately that I love you? Have I told you lately that I care?”
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of George on May 2, 2022, at the age of 72 years. George was the epitome of a family man. His family meant the world to him. He loved classic cars, karaoke and fishing. He loved going for car rides with his wife Annette, and his two dogs Billy and Jesse, whom he affectionately called “The Boys”. He had the kindest heart, always there for anyone in need. Everyone was his buddy and he made many a friend. Cars were his life. He had a successful career as a car salesman. He was a proud member of the Classic Car Club, the Misfits. He loved cruising up Ouellette Avenue in his 1963 Ford Galaxy and loved showing it off at local car shows. George was also a life-long huge Leafs fan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annette, his two children Jennifer (Allen) and Jason (Sarah), and his grandchildren Jack, Tatum, Siobhan and Parker. Also, his brothers John, Tim and Ron. Special thanks to his lifelong friend Denis who has been a great support to us.
As per George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
