Obituary of Jean Marilyn Perry

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to announce the passing of Jean Marilyn Perry (nee Skeoch) on April 30, 2022, at the age of 85, with her loving family by her side.  The family would like you to hold her in your thoughts and prayers at this time.  Reunited with her loving husband David (2017), and her parents Arthur (1964) and Mary (1979). Beloved mother to Jane Schembri (Vince) and Alvin Rawson (Jennifer).  Dearest sister to John Skeoch (Pat), Ken Skeoch (Pat), and Norma Skeoch-Taverner (Jim). Cherished Grandma to Nicholas, Michael, Brett, and Ryan, Nona to Mary and Julia, Gigi to Heidi, Erik, Jacob, Lainey, and Abby. Loving stepmother to David Perry (Suzie), Suzanne Miller, Patricia Remaly, Lisa Perry, and Chuck Perry (Cathy). Dear Grandma Jean to Ceale, Thomas, Colton, and Jenae. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Born in 1936 in Toronto, Ontario, Jean raised her family in Oakville and then spent 32 years living in Allentown Pennsylvania until she returned to Canada in February 2020. She was a loving wife, mother and career woman, working for many years at Mack Trucks in Canada and the U.S.. She had a witty sense of humour, adored her grandchildren, enjoyed hearing stories, loved to knit, was a fierce card player and liked to travel. 

Sincere thanks to all of her caregivers over the months, especially nurses Datza and Doug from Paramed, Lindsay from Hospice, and all of the staff at Hotel-Dieu Grace Palliative Care, and the Village of Aspen Lake. We cannot count the number of times people have told us how wonderful your mother is. That news always put a smile on our faces.  Memorial visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519) 253-7234 on Friday May 6th from 12:00 until 1:30 pm, followed by a chapel service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated.
