Obituary of Francis Piccinin
It is with extreme sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Francis Piccinin, on April 28, 2022 at the age of 69. His last days were spent surrounded by his loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. He will be reunited with his parents Marino and Nives Piccinin (nee Santarossa). “Frenchie” was a loving and caring brother to Eddie (Lora) Piccinin and a cherished and adored Zio to Daniela and Matthew. Francis was blessed with a large and affectionate extended family and will be sadly missed by Dino (the late Angela), Lissa, Shawn, Carlo, Roberto, Vanessa, Jonathan and Connor. He will be remembered fondly by many cousins, friends and coworkers. Anyone who knew Francis was touched by his kindness, generosity and gentleness of spirit.
Francis was known as a hardworking, dedicated company man. He had a 25-year career with the Coco Group where he developed special bonds with co-workers whom he considered as second family.He was a selfless man who was always ready to help those in need. He was so proud to recently be recognized by the Canadian Blood Services for a milestone of 75 donations over his lifetime. Friends, family, and co-workers are encouraged to join for a "Celebration of Life and Memorial Service" on Saturday May 7, 2022, at 11:30 at the Caboto Club (2175 Parent Ave, Windsor). In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Hospice of Windsor/ Essex County. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com.
