Obituary of John Vadori

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on April 10, 2022, in his 99th year. He was the dear husband of Bruna (nee Nicodemo) with whom he shared 74 years of beautiful marriage. John was the middle of three children from Ernesto and Regina (nee Nadalin). John will always be lovingly remembered by his sons Larry (Sandy) and Mario (Susan). He was the proud Nonno to his four grandchildren, Jamie (Suzy), Kevin (Pam), Angela Vadori and Christa Vadori, and they adored him. Cherished Nonno-B to his great-grandchildren Brooke, Casen, Matteo, Luca, Brisa and Aria. Reunited with his sister Marcella (Piero) Driussi and brother Luigi Vadori and sister-in-law Ester (Bruno) Angeli and brother-in-law Bruno Nicodemo. Survived by sisters-in-law Margurite Vadori and Clorinda Nicodemo. Special Zio to Clara (nee Angeli) and Silvio Barresi, as well as many other nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Following his service in WWII, John, Bruna and Larry immigrated from Morsano Al Tagliamento, Pordenone, Italy in 1949. John was a very gifted cheese maker and created the finest and most delicious home-made wine. He was an avid gardener. He was a proud member of Liuna 625 Union, as well as a proud member of the Il Coro Italiano and St. Angela Merici Church choir, parishioner of St. Angela Merici Church, and a member of the Fogolar Furlan and Giovanni Caboto Clubs. John was most happy at home with his family, in his garden and singing in his choirs. A special thank you to Dr. DiBartolomeo and Oak Park for the wonderful care and support, as well as the doctors and nursing staff at WRH – Met Campus in ER and 4West for your compassion and care given to John. He will always be remembered and loved.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 4-8pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 8:45am from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30am.
