Since I met Eric in the 1st grade we became best friends almost instantly. We've continued to share our life experiences together until this April. Eric was someone who I could talk to about everything. He was always there for me. He radiated positive energy and always saw the good in the people he met. I'll miss playing basketball with Eric, driving around listening to music, talking, gaming, and listening to his jokes. I'm so fortunate to have met someone who impacted my life so positively. Rest in peace man I'll miss you every day.

Karen, Nicole and Natalie and the entire Bisson Family, Our sincerest condolences to all of you. Getting to know Eric and watching him grow to a happy go lucky young man who was always smiling, even when he wasn't feeling so good kept me in awe. He never looked for pity and just wanted to get on with life. He was always charming, funny and a light shone from his eyes that came from within. At Leo and Erin's it always brought a smile to my face watching how close the cousins were and how much fun they had together. Cherish the wonderful memories he left in such a short time as they will carry you through the tough times. When I think of him I will smile knowing he no longer has to suffer and has been reunited with his father Paul. But mostly I will smile becuase his kind heart and smiling face left an imprint on my heart and the lives of those he came in contact with! He's a very special person and will never be forgotten!

Eric and my brother were best friends for as long as I can remember. Whether they wanted to chat, play some basketball, or simply hang out together, they were always there for each other. Eric was always a pleasure to have around. He was polite, witty, and had an infectious laugh. His strength and perseverance inspired everyone who knew him. Looking back, it makes me so happy to see how happy Eric and John made one another. Karen, Nicole, and Natalie, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Eric will live forever in our hearts. Karen, Nicole and Natalie My most heart felt condolences to you all. Eric was a true blessing to us all and he will be remembered always as my Superman. Eric's strength, heart, compassion and smile was like no others. Eric could light up a room with his bright smile and his infectious laughter. I always admired the amazing connection you all had as a family which was so fun to see at family visits and celebrations. I love you all so very much and will miss Eric always but I know he is now with Paul getting the longest hugs a proud dad could give. The two of them together brings some peace. Having Eric as my Nephew was a blessing and his love will go on in all our hearts❤️ Never to be forgotten ❤️ always to be remembered❤️

Karen, Nicole and Natalie I was completely heart-broken to hear the news of Eric’s passing. He was quite simply, a treasure. I had the absolute pleasure of teaching Eric in grade 3 at Lakeshore Discovery. His smile and sense of humour are two qualities that are so present in my memories of him. I also remember, so much, his courage and determination in spite of the adversities that he confronted daily. He never once felt sorry for himself or used his illness as an excuse. He met every challenge with amazing strength and integrity. Many years later, I would have the pleasure of getting to know Eric, the young man, when he became my co-op student at Belle River Public school. He was attentive, kind and patient with the students and they loved Monsieur Eric! The opportunity to have him in my classroom alongside me, teaching young students, was such a treat for me. We had so much fun together and shared many laughs and sideways glances throughout the semester. I will always hold dear, my memories of and experiences with Eric. Although his life was cut short, his spirit will forever live on in all with whom he came in contact. À la prochaine Eric. Love and prayers, Mme Sue Byrne
